She successfully represented a former Secret Service Agent before the Federal Circuit. She was successful in reversing the MSPB decision that dismissed her client's whistle blower claim. Ms. Sweeney recently negotiated a six figure severance package for a female executive who had been sexually harassed by management during her employment with a Fortune 500 company. Currently, Ms. Sweeney is co-counsel in a class action suit representing employees in claim for unpaid overtime. Criminal Law Ms. Sweeney has represented clients charged with a gamut of crimes from RICO and bank fraud to murder in both state and federal courts. In recent years, she has obtained acquittals and dismissals for clients charged with murder, robbery and child molesting as class A felonies. She has also been successful in appealing cases that resulted in the Indiana courts finding laws unconstitutional as well as outright reversals based upon unlawful search and seizures. Recently she was successful in obtaining the return of a client's truck and money that had been seized when he was federally indicted in a multistate drug conspiracy. Out of 10 defendants, her client was the only person released after arrest and who was returned any seized property.
